Is Kissing a Cause of Gonorrhea?
Kissing can cause gonorrhea. But, it is also true that the root of all evil, gonorrhea is a bacterium. Gonorrhea is a STD. It is also called clap. But, one must know how an innocuous kiss can cause this dreadful disease.
Body parts that gets affected by Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea, affects all the areas of the body wherever the mucous membrane is present. That means areas where there is existence of mucous membrane, such as, genitals, the anus and rectum, throat, eyes, the effect of gonorrhea is pronounced. The bacteria move through secretions from the affected areas. When the mucous membrane comes in contact with the secretions of the affected person, the gonorrhea is transmitted. Any form of sexual activity will obviously transfer the bacteria with ominous consequence. Now, if the bacterium has invaded the throat of a person, a kiss may transfer the bacteria to the other person involved in the kiss.
Complications normally encountered in Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea is a dreadful disease. It not only affects the person but takes it toll in generations. In fact, man or woman infected from the disease may become infertile. In male, the urethra may get blocked and urination disrupted causing serious situation. Gonorrhea may infect the testicles and create complications with dreadful consequences. In female, it may infect the fallopian tubes and result in Pelvic inflammatory disorders
The early symptoms of Gonorrhea
There are many common early symptoms of gonorrhea for both male and female. There may be yellowish discharge from the penis or vagina as the case may be. Both male and female may experience acute pain in passing the stools. There are other painful symptoms experienced by gonorrhea patients; the worst of all which normally makes them restless is the burning sensation in their genitals.
